2018 Fall Faculty Series Theme Announced

By Amanda Mayotte ’15

The 2018 Fall Faculty Series will focus on the important topic of sustainability and the environment.

A popular series occurring each fall since 2014, Mount Mercy faculty facilitate a semester-long conversation aimed at challenging the community to reflect in deep ways about the important topics of our time.

Though still under development, this year’s series will highlight Mount Mercy’s new Office of Sustainability and Stewardship and the interdisciplinary expertise of faculty studying environmental sustainability.

Previous Fall Faculty Series include Divided We Fall: Finding Common Ground in a Fractured Age (2017); The U.S. as an Immigrant Nation (2016); Stories We Tell: Legacies of the Vietnam War (2015); and A Century of Glory and Shame (2014). ■
